Design

Combining multidisciplinary knowledge, DESIGN is the beginning of all the development process of a global market product. The integration of aesthetics and technological breakthrough ideas allows to present innovating concepts matching client expectations with market demands.

 

Engineering

The development of a new product is made through CAD 3D modelling, realistic view and virtual prototyping to achieve the best technical solutions and the production optimization. The use of tools of finite elements (FEM) enable the correct dimensioning anticipating problems and increasingly avoiding the need of physical prototypes reducing significantly the product development cycle.

 

Prototyping

3D printing and HSM (High Speed Machining) turn the creation of rigorous physical models possible, with the aim to evaluate and validate the solutions being developed in a first stage of the project. A correct choice of the materials to use, make the approach to the aesthetic appearance and functional performance of the product.

Reverse Engineering

3D scanning collects information of any geometric form or complex surface of a physical model. Through laser or photometric reading, the creation of a point cloud mesh and/or space coordinates of the model surrounding allows to obtain, in a fast and flexible way, the CAD 3D information that will be the basis for the development of the respective engineering process.

 

Checking Fixtures

The Checking Fixtures work as a measuring support simulating the setting of the part in the automobile without interfering with its integrity when removed. Simulates the surrounding of the automobile permitting to measure the Gap and the Flush. Digital Measuring Systems resources are able to detect any deviations in the measuring of the parts confirming the required tolerances both dimensional and positional.

PROTOTYPES

SLS | SLA | FDM

The use of various additive manufacturing processes – Laser Sintering (SLS), Stereolithography (SLA) and 3D printing (FDM) – enable the production of unique and functional prototypes, of high resolution and high mechanical performance. It is therefore possible to make an evaluation and / or validation of the design, geometry and engineering in intermediate stages of the product development.

Through techniques as CNC machining or the silicone moulds it is possible to produce small series of a final product. The time needed to obtain these functional models is significantly reduced. All the process is optimized with lower costs of development. The client is able to make a formal, dimensional and functional pre-evaluation of his product in a more rigorous and effective way.

The big moulds production emerged in 2009 responding to the growing needs of the market in this area. MPTOOL combines a high technological integration of added value with the most advanced production management methods. Today, MPTOOL has a production capacity of moulds up to 35 Ton in reduced deadlines.

The advanced Try-Out Center is able to assess the performance of the moulds produced indoor ensuring the highest quality levels. With high performance equipment, with a capacity from 55 Ton to 2.300 Ton of clamping force, it is possible to simulate the future production environment for all types of injection moulds. Are available: 2K and 3K Injection, gas assisted injection, compression-injection, expansion-injection, core back injection and also the possibility of injection process control in “close-loop”. There are also available all the required resources to control, document and confirm the quality produced.
