The use of stainless steel was a fundamental requirement. Beginning with this base material, we wanted to add another comparable durable material for elements of function. We chose glass which was best for the functionality of a touch screen and was optimal for easy cleaning and to maintain ideal hygiene standards. A significant design detail of the big machine are the rounded corners to make the aesthetic less intimidating as the size of its industrial magnitude would otherwise suggest. Made from a combination of laser cutting technology and master welders, the corners are carefully shaped one by one. Considering some of the technical functions of the machine, we added diagonal ventilation grills for the protection of the motor and to add an element of contrast to the curves of the durable steel and glass.
