The Portuguese PRR is a national program with an implementation period until 2026 and will execute a set of reforms and investments that will allow the country to resume sustained economic growth. It will be financed by total resources of €16.6 billion, broken down into around €14 billion in grants and €2.7 billion in loans.

The Recovery and Resilience Plan has been organized into 20 components, which in turn comprise a total of 37 reforms and 83 investments.
